Hellsing Mission 1: Cheddar Church

Integra fell backwards onto the stairwell as a ghoul fired at both of them.
She picked herself up though as she took out the Walther again since the rapier would be a bit useless at the moment.
Then she caught up to Seras, and fired from behind over her shoulder at another approaching ghoul this time with a shotgun shooting it in the head.

Seras picked up the SMG, and fired a few remaining rounds into another ghoul before kicking him into the wall, killing him instantly.
She took off her belt to make it a sling for the weapon, since it used quite common ammo and could be of use anytime again.

Integra took a few steps forward, and stood beside Seras.
She then took out the cigar from her mouth, and put it out since it was finished.
Then she checked to see how many bullets she had left, and got another load ready.

Seras sighed deeply, feeling pain from her stomatch but ignoreing it mostly.
Are you alright, Sir?
She looked around, seeing the few stone coffins in the bulges of the walls.

Integra looked around the room, and tried to make sure there wasn't any traps, or any ambush waiting for them.
I'm alright Officer Seras. How are you holding up?

I`ll live. Or not. She simply said, going further on.
Takeing her pistol and reloading the spend bullet, she looks through the man-made cave. and soon comes to the end of it... a sealed room with some dark energy comeing from it.

Integra cautiously made her way to the area where Seras was, and had an ominous feeling wash over her.
She didn't like the energy she was sensing from behind the door, and raised both her gun and rapier.
Seras I want you to make an opening large enough for us to see what's inside first.

Seras nodded, shivering from the energy.
Alright. Stand back, i will try to open it but rocks might be flying everywhere.
She gently shoved Integra backwards, then delivered a strong side-kick at the stone which might`ve been a doorway once.. and a large crack goes into it, with a lot of rubble comming down from it.. she kicks again and again, and eventually, it breaks down with a lot of dust... both start to cough and are blinded for a minute.

Integra had shielded her eyes from the dust, and any flying pieces of brick with her arm.
After a while she coughed a bit from breathing in the dust, and put her arm down after it settled.
She approached the opening carefully, and peered in then suddenlly raised her Walther PPK as she felt a wave of sinister energy hit her.
As a way to have more light Integra gathered up a piece of cloth from one of the ghoul's corpses, and lit it with her lighter before throwing it into the room.

Slowly, the room lits up, and Seras steps in... its a small room, not bigger than ten square feet.. in it, there`s an coffin, and the closer they get to it, the stronger the unnatural aura gets.. It doesn`t seem to contain a liveing person, but not a dead one either... Either way, it gives strong, pulsateing waves of evil off..

Any normal human being would have passed out from the aura coming off from the coffin, but Integra wasn't exactly normal and Seras wasn't human.
Integra approached one side of the coffin, and gestured for Seras to take the other side as she had her hand ready to open up the lid.

Seras nodded to her, and with a firm push, they eventually managed to remove the cover.
Beneath, was a rotten corpse.. the one of a woman.
She had long, black hair that was now thin and fragile on her head that was almost reduced to a skull, and a large sword was placed on her chest, her hand holding it... she`s wearing a long black dress, but its almost gone as well... strangely enough, it doesn´t stink as much as it should be, the airtight chamber kept away bugs for long it seems.

As soon as the lid was pushed off, and they show the woman inside Integra was a bit curious now.
There was no smell coming from the corpse, and yet it was rotting everywhere on her body.
However, Integra didn't let her guard down for a minute.
She reminds me of the way Alucard was almost when I found him. Seras whatever you do don't let any of your blood touch her.

Seras looked down herself, bleeding all over and covered in ghoul blood.
...well, i suppose then you should rather touch than me. I`d revive her instantly i think.
She tried to wipe off her gloves, but it didn`t do much good.

Integra looked at the officer, and nodded in agreement as she saw the blood.
The she looked at herself to make sure she wasn't bleeding on her hands anywhere.
Very well I'll go ahead then.
She approached the body, and gently started to lift up the sword from the woman's grasp.
However, she stopped when she thought she caught some movement out of the corner of her eye.
